Psychohygienic assessment of adaptation state in children with pathologies of locomotor system

SUMMÀRY:
The economic, ecological, and social processes affect negatively the functional possibilities of the organism and according to medico-psychological parameters of the children. They lead to an increase of chronic diseases. Hygienists, pediatricians, surgeons, and orthopedists inform about an increase of the number of the children with scoliosis. Successful adaptation for such children is associated with a possibility of getting education, including higher one. Currently, the most complex and prolonged type of treatment-and-preventive care to the children with scoliosis is a staying in specialized boarding schools, rehabilitation centers, boarding houses where the general educational process combined with protective health improving, correcting regimes that promote the creation of necessary conditions for social and psychological adaptation of children and adolescents.
