ABSTRACT:
Objective: We developed the Technical Conditions "The Field Food Sets", studied a chemical composition of the separate foodstuffs and the set No. 15, and presented its hygienic and biological assessment.

Materials and methods: We studied a list of 270 denominations of the foodstuffs and standards for them.

Results: We developed the Technical Conditions "The Field Food Sets": TC U 10.8 – 00034022 – 153:2016. “The Norm No. 15 – Daily Field Food Set” was created on their basis and nutrition and energetic values (by the content of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and calorie content) of the field set and high-calorie set were established.
According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 03.10.2016, No. 696 the changes in the norm of the nutrition of the servicemen were introduced and the norms of the nutrition of the servicemen of the Armed Forces and other military formations were supplemented with the norm No. 15 – daily field food set. By the composition, calorie value, and nutrition value the new set- norm No. 15 has been estimated to meet the present requirements for the food intakes of the contingents under field extreme conditions.
